Miss Navajo Nation Pendleton Shawl Presentation

  1. You really make it appear so easy together with your presentation however I
to find this topic to be really something that I think I’d by no means
understand. It sort of feels too complex and very extensive for me.
I’m looking ahead in your subsequent publish, I will attempt to get the dangle
    of it!

  2. To: Shelley Naera (New Zealand)
Yah’at’tééh!!!! Thank you for your interest in My Navajo Cultural way of life… The land is unique nd rich into our hearts. I welcome you to The Great Navajo Nation in the near future. .. The best time to visit is in July 4th nd September during the Navajo Nation Fair. Thanks for your time nd cooperations… God bless you 🙂

  3. Can anybody please help me, we are a group of native New Zealanders (Maori) looking to visit the Navajo mid year 2017. What would be the best time to visit. We would like to learn your culture and history. The group is elderly so any information at all would be wonderful.

    Thank yoiu

  4. Leekinder Bahe says:

The Navajo Nation Fair needs an upgrade … Major upgrade!!! I mean look at how many casinos we run as Navajo people! We even run border towns as well! A new rodeo stadium would be nice! A high cross walk above the highway would be safe for all. Some Navajo billboards displaying past and present Navajo Queens and president with night light would be extravagant for non- Navajos to see! I have so much on my mind.. But would be decades for this to come alive… So I’m still dreaming for my people…. Thanks Leekinder Bahe of Rough Rock Arizona

  5. Milton Denny says:

Would like to know how to obtain a copy of this years program.

  6. Having the Pow Wow during the middle of the week is one if the most idiotic moves ever done by the fair committee! I boycotted this yeas fair the pow wow is the only reason I go and I am not going during the week as I figured most pow wow dancers have jobs and wouldn’t be there on Tuesday. Another suggestion do something about out the pathetic pile iof dirt you call the pow wow camp grounds. What an embarrassment. plant some trees and grass!

  7. Why did they move the Pow Wow to Week days, weekends are better…

  8. Byron Hoskie says:

You would think…Parks and Recreation can provide safer, more appealing, adequate and more modern facilities for these events…as much money as we spend each year!
Really…unstocked unsanitary, inadequate PORT O POTTIES, uneven dangerous walk areas with large rocks and uneven surfaces, muddy rodent infested empty undeveloped areas for parking, unsafe falling apart buildings and shelters with sharp and rough edges, bleachers/benches unstable, no hand rails, no lit up or well marked exit and walkway areas.
If it weren’t for the kids and the good memories made here year after year…I wouldn’t bother to return. But its tradition…so I make the best of it. But something does have to be done to preserve the tradition and the nostalgia of the events that take place here…because some day…I’d like my great great grandchildren to experience this tradition…just as my grand parents tell me of what is used to be like.

  9. When is the Miss Navajo Swimsuit competition?

  10. Navajo Inn says:

Will the NN Fair Parade be LIVE STREAMED this year?

  11. Enough portable toilets for the public? You don’t end up walking miles in a circle trying to find one. Always a problem. Seems like it’s never in the plan. Also a map of the grounds posted everywhere,

  12. I’m pretty upset with the organizing of the events and placing the Pow Wow during the week! We have children who look forward to this and they have school to attend! Whoever masterminded this must not have children!! We’re no longer going to thus Pow Wow since they’ve decided not to keep the children in mind!!! Very disappointed!!!!!!
